What kind of discount on my homeowners insurance can I expect
with a monitored security system?
Talk to your Insurance agent. Your insurance policy and the type of security system installed in your home will decide your discount range which
may vary from 5 to 20%

Are warning decals and yard signs a deterrent?
Warning decals and yard sign(s) are highly recommended although they remain optional
Homes that display decals are a less likely targets for intruders and burglars.

How do you define a “FULL SERVICE” Company?
First of all the basic security system can be installed in less than 24 hours
then a full service security company such as Barnes Electronic Protection Services, once the installation of the security systems is completed,
provide 24-hour monitoring and has a 24-hour repair service agreement on your security system,

Steps to take in the operation of your security system are as follows:
1- While at home, enter your code and press the “stay” button on the keypad.
The stay button usually is programmed to arm the door and/or window sensors only, which allows freedom of movement throughout your home.
2- To disarm enter your access code and press the "off" button.
3- Before you leave, enter your code and press the “away” button on the keypad.
The “away” mode arms the door,window and motion detection sensors.
4- When you return, a friendly tone will sound,
reminding you to enter your code on the keypad to disarm the system.

Agreement Terms
Monthly monitoring service agreements are available in 1, 2, or 3 year terms.

These agreements include 24 hour, 7 days a week full service monitoring
plus the installation of the following equipment ( a $1,270 value)
one control panel with backup battery

one digital keypad with emergency buttons for fire, police and ambulance

one interior siren

four door or window sensors

one motion detector

telephone jack with call interrupt

one yard sign and 4 decals for doors and windows.

Installation of a home security system may qualify you for a discount on
your homeowner’s insurance. Please contact your agent for more information.

In order to take advantage of this offer you must:
(a) be a Homeowner
(b) be at least 18 years old
(c) have an acceptable credit history and
(d) execute an applicable Home Standard Monitoring Agreement

What if my home requires more protection than your basic offer provides?
Can I add more protection?

What if I experience an emergency when the intrusion system is not turned on?
There are (3) 24-hour emergency buttons on the keypad. Barnes Electronic Protection Services can summon the Police, Fire, or Medical emergency authorities for you 24-hours a day.

Can Barnes Electronic Services install a system in the new home that we are building?
Yes. we also specialize in new construction installations.

How soon will I hear from Barnes Electronic Protection Services after I accept this offer?
Within a few business days, Barnes Electronic Protection Services will call you to finalize the details and answer further questions. If your credit is approved and you meet all the previously mentioned requirements, agreement forms will then be mailed to you.
You will complete and return these forms to Barnes Electronic Protection Services along with your activation fee and first month’s monitoring service payment. Upon receipt, Barnes Electronic Protection Services will call you to schedule a convenient time for system installation/activation.

No. Experienced installers uses the latest technology and
care when installing your new system.

What payment options are there?
The $--.00 activation fee, and the first month monitoring fee will need to be
remitted along with the completed Home Security forms prior to installation.
Monitoring fees are payable in advance each month.

Can Barnes Electronic Protection Services offer protection for my business?
Yes. In the commercial realm, Barnes Electronic Protection Services provides systems
for intrusion detection, addressable fire protection, closed circuit TV monitoring
(CCTV) card access control, total system integration and more.

What does the $--.00 activation fee cover?
Barnes Electronic Protection Services will deliver and install the security system, install the telephone connection device, program and test to the monitoring center, and give you easy-to-follow instructions, all for $--.00!
